The Final Storm
Book Three of "The Door Within Trilogy"

by Wayne Thomas Batson

The Final Storm is the exciting conclusion to The Door Within Trilogy. At the end of Book Two, The Rise of the Wyrm Lord, Aidan Thomas was going to Baltimore with his father on business. While he was there, Aidan was going to try again to reach his friend Robby Pierson, to convince him of the need to believe in King Eliam and the story of Alleble. Aidan had tried to call Robby before he left home, but no one ever answered the phone.

The flight to Baltimore was anything but uneventful. The plane got caught in a storm. While flying through some turbulence, Aiden saw the Glimpse twin of Antoinette, Gwenne, outside the plane’s window. He wondered if Antoinette had gotten into some kind of trouble on her visit to The Realm.

After the plane almost crashed, injuring Mr. Thomas, they arrived at the hotel. Aidan finally got to talk to Robby. He told Robby he was coming to visit with him the next day. He hung up, without giving Robby a chance to say no, but when he arrived at Robby’s house, things had changed. Robby’s dad had come back to his family. He was the twin of the Glimpse, Rucifel, Paragor’s lieutenant. How would he ever convince Robby to follow King Eliam now?

The Final Storm is the stellar conclusion to an exciting fantasy series that parallels the Christian life. As with belief in Jesus, it begins with acceptance of something intangible. As with Christian life, Aidan has to put his life on the line for his beliefs, but the rewards are well worth the sacrifice. Read The Final Storm, along with the rest of the series. No matter what your age, they might just teach you the value of making the right decisions.
