KeAloha
The Keeper

by Emel Kay

Emel Kay has created an unusual and exotic book that fuses contemporary realities with Hawaiian mythology and legend.

At times confusing, but always action packed, this book will make anyone curious about the Hawaiian culture. The author is gracious enough to provide a pronunciation guide for Hawaiian names and also provides a glossary of Hawaiian slang.

For those with no knowledge of Hawaiian gods, I would recommend familiarizing yourself with their names and attributes or you might soon find yourself scratching your head as you try to figure out the hidden meanings in the storyline.

Overall, this story provides a vast array of characters unlike any you've encountered before. Put those characters in a magical setting, like Hawaii, and you've got a dreamy, unique and mesmerizing story.
