Honeymoon

By James Patterson and Howard Roughan
Read by Hope Davis and Campbell Scott

Nora Sinclair is a decorator. She visits her mother regularly and enjoys the occasional girls' night out. She's beautiful, and revels in the fact that she can please a man. Her husband is mad about her. So is her fiancé. They excite her and shower her with gifts. But that little voice inside is telling Nora it's time, so Nora is compiling a list. "Connor or Jeffery? Who should it be? Which one is she going to kill?"

Agent O'Hara and his boss are onto Nora. O'Hara poses as an insurance agent in an attempt to gain her trust. However, her trust may be his undoing, because O'Hara is seriously attracted to her. O'Hara's boss hates Nora. She doesn't trust Nora's feminine charms and wants to take her down quickly.

It's a game of cat and mouse, with a trap wide enough to catch them all, including the innocent. It's sexy, scary, and suspenseful. It's breath-taking at some points and head-shaking at others. It's another of Patterson's best.

Throw in two excellent narrators, a fascinating novel, some gripping music, and you'll get an entertaining audio book. Actors Hope Davis and Campbell Scott narrate the audio version of Honeymoon. Their readings are dead-on. There's no confusion in the reading of the various characters. In fact, Hope's interpretation of Nora makes her as irresistible to the listeners as her victims. Due to mature content use headphones in mixed company.
