Honeymoon

By James Patterson and Howard Roughan

Nora Sinclair, a top interior designer is beautiful, intelligent, funny, sexy, and a gourmet cook who expects the best in life. She was formerly married to a top cardiologist who died unexpectedly of a heart attack. She is married to a best selling writer, and engaged to a millionaire investment banker. Unfortunately, all her lovers seem to drop dead after eating the gourmet omelet she prepares for them. She has invested the monetary rewards for all these alliances in an offshore account in the Cayman Islands.

Special agent for the Joint Terrorist Task Force, John O'Hara is monitoring suspicious fund transfers, searching for hidden terrorist funds. He becomes suspicious of her banking activities, not sure whether she is a spy or a terrorist or an innocent just hiding her assets. He disguises himself as an insurance agent overseeing her claim of her investment banker's insurance. He becomes fascinated with Nora and her fatal charm, and fights the danger of succumbing to these charms.

This is written in Patterson's unique style...short chapters, each of which encompasses a single episode...which speeds the action. The story is fast moving. It is filled with suspense and with surprise after surprise. These will keep the reader turning the pages until the biggest surprise of all...the deadly unexpected ending.
